Eik Pir Raaveh Aapanaa Hau Kai Dhar Poochhau Jai Uthanika (Preface) - Ang 38

In this Katha clip, Sant Giani Hari Singh (Randhawe Wale) provides the preface to the Shabad "Eik Pir Raaveh Aapanaa Hau Kai Dhar Poochhau Jai," found on Ang 38 of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj. In this preface, Sri Guru Amar Das Ji is asked by the Sikhs about men who dress in women's clothing, tie their hair behind their heads, and refer to God as their husband. The Sikhs acknowledge the truth in this concept but seek clarity on why these individuals practice it in this manner.

 

ਇਕਿ ਪਿਰੁ ਰਾਵਹਿ ਆਪਣਾ ਹਉ ਕੈ ਦਰਿ ਪੂਛਉ ਜਾਇ ॥
