ਬਿਨੁ ਗੁਰ ਰੋਗੁ ਨ ਤੁਟਈ ਹਉਮੈ ਪੀੜ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥

Without the Guru, the disease is not cured, and the pain of egotism is not removed.
